I see everything that I do in the office at Victory as ministry. I work alongside wonderful staff and volunteers – whose purpose is to see people brought into the kingdom of God and grow in their relationship with Him, to help the hurting, to serve the community, and be a resource to other ministries throughout our region. As a volunteer at Victory, I serve on the Worship Team as a singer and musician. Love to help create an atmosphere for corporate worship.

On staff at Victory since 1997. Worked at a stock brokerage firm for 11 years in Charlotte, NC, before coming to PA. Grew up in a one-stoplight town in WV – much like Mayberry. My wonderful parents still live there. Have two older brothers and one younger sister – who have collectively and generously shared 7 nieces and nephews with me – all of whom I adore. Love life in PA – especially at Victory. Thankful for the abundance of friends God has blessed me with since coming here. Always looking forward to the new chapters of my life that God continues to unfold.
Love spending time with friends and family. Love the outdoors, although I don't get to experience as much of it as I'd like. Enjoy writing – when inspired. Love to piddle around on my keyboard at home.

Presently I am involved with Victory Group, Victory's Care Ministry for meals, as well as personal chef work and meal planning for individuals in need of free assistance. In the past years, I have served as Café Manager here at Victory Family Church were I had an amazing time meeting with first time visitors welcoming them, praying with them or just sitting down over a cup of coffee to chat about life. My husband, Joe and I also conducted a small group ministry in our former church, which concentrated on the aspect of worship; teaching individuals to "enjoy" the presence of the Father.
About Tonya: I adore the Father! You can find me most mornings on my secluded patio around 5:30 A.M. or 6:00 A.M. enjoying His presence, worshiping Him and reading His word. Other things I find most fulfilling are: my husband, Joe (I'm his #1 fan), our three wonderful children, Joe Jr. & Sacha (his wife), Matt, and Kristen and our grandson, Andrew, traveling, golfing, biking, walking, reading, photography and definitely cooking. I absolutely LOVE cooking!

Favorite Scriptures:
Galatians 2:20, 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6, Matthew 6:26, and Romans 8:37. These scriptures cover my life. It's not I who live but Christ in me. I live by faith in Him, knowing it's not by works but grace because of His amazing love for me. I have only to cast my cares onto Him because He cares for me. I don't have to worry or be agitated about anything because He hears my prayers; He gives wisdom to those that seek Him. He provides for all my needs, for I am of great value to Him; I am more than a conqueror who can never be separated from my Father!

Favorite Bible Character:
Paul is my favorite. He was such a warrior for Jesus. He was beaten, left for dead, ship wrecked, whipped, often times asked to leave and no longer preach the good news. No matter where he went he found resistance to what he was saying yet in Romans 1:16 he states "I'm not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile". He let nothing get in his way in spreading the Good News…. A model for us all!

What I Love Most About Being a Christian:
What I love most about being a Christian is the peace that transcends all things, the peace of God. Every day I look around and see the chaos of this world, yet I can rest knowing that God brings peace into every situation. There is nothing too big for God, He is always there to love on us, protect us, and heal us in every situation.
